Drew has been married to Cindy for 32 years and they have two sons; Nathan age 29 and Josh age 26. Drew took an interest in nature and outdoor photography back in the late 1970's and in 2005 he made the move to digital photography. Drew and Cindy travel throughout Virginia visiting Shenandoah National Park several times each year and other parks and historical locations within the Commonwealth. In January 2006, Drew and Cindy created Finley Photography and launched their business web site. His photos have been used for the 2006 & 2008 Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce Street Map and Resource Guide cover and the 2007 Gloucester County Community Profile & Resource Guide magazine. In just five short years since his first wedding photography contract in 2005, Drew's wedding photography has captured the attention of many. Drew is a graduate of the New York Institute of Professional Photography (NYIP) located in New York City. During his time as a NYIP student, he received multiple Merit Awards for his NYIP photo projects. He has a BA degree in photography with Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, NJ. Drew has completed under study work and received mentoring and coaching from Bob Lerner, a professional staff photographer for LOOK magazine from 1951-1971. Bob Lerner also had a very successful freelance career from 1971 -1986 and has permanent photography on display at the Chrysler Museum and Mariners Museum in Virginia, Library of Congress and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Drew is always continuing to study photography and art and he believes very strongly in surrounding himself with mentors and coaches in all areas of his life.
